What are the differences between Primary Battery and rechargeable battery?A primary battery is not intended to be recharged and is discarded when the battery has delivered all of its electrical energy.
A rechargeable battery is a galvanic battery which, after discharge, is restored to the fully charged state by the passage of an electrical current through the cell in the opposite direction to that of discharge.
There are several steps you can take to insure that you get maximum performance from your palm pda battery:
Breaking In New Battery -- New palm pda battery come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use it. It is recommended that you fully charge and discharge your new palm pocket pc battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity.
Keep Your Batteries Clean -- Clean your dirty palm smartphone battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. This helps maintain a good connection between the palm pda battery and your pda.
Charge Your Batteries Properly -- Fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks.With lithium-ion palm pda batteries, partial charges and discharges are best on a regular basis. These batteries do not suffer from the memory effect.
Store Your Batteries Correctly -- Storing it in a clean, dry, cool place,Don't store pda batteries completely discharged. A 50% charge is optimum for storage.Charge lithium-ion pda batteries when you're ready to use them after storage.
